Product Overview
The Needle V Assembly Scavenging is provided as a part of the Anesthetic Gas Scavenging System (AGSS) module of Breathing Circuit Gas (BCG) in an anesthesia delivery machine. The gases that are exhaled from the patient transfer from the exhalation valve to the AGSS module and are scavenged such so the patient or any medical personnel do not breathe them. The needle valve controls the rate of gas flow by adjusting variable orifice thus providing an active adjustable flow. As the valve is opened, the orifice around the needle becomes larger and flow increases. The kit consists of the needle valve stem, body, knob, connector, O-rings and nuts.
