Product Overview
The Dust Gasket and Fixing Ring for Laser Trackball kit consists of rubber type dust gasket and trackball fixing ring. The laser trackball is an advance cursor control device, which is a part of Vivid E9 operating panel. As this works on the laser, the integrated circuit with optics take continual snapshot of ball surface and how the features in these snapshots move is used to detect ball motion. A gasket and a fixing ring is used to fix the trackball in the operating panel. The gasket is used to fill the space between two parts or considered as a sealing agent. The shape and size of the gasket varies according to the requirement. The rubber gasket is used in trackball assembly to avoid dust entries as well, thus helps to increase the lifespan of the trackball and prevent it from over-heating. It works in a temperature range of -54° C to 150° C. A trackball fixing ring is provided to add more space between trackball and operator panel bezel. This kit is available as a spare part, thus the unit be replaced whenever required.
